Cityscapes is the first full-length album from the New York City-based, eclectic powerhouse band ShoutHouse. ShoutHouse is a collaboration between more than 25 artists, including four composers, five rappers, three jazz soloists, and more than a dozen classical musicians. Each track on Cityscapes reflects on a different time, space, or story in New York's history. Running in chronological order from the first track "Mannahatta" to the last track "Rebuild", Cityscapes is a journey from New York's prehistoric roots to its imagined future. The project is directed by composer Will Healy, who also composed the majority of the tracks on the album.

Very complex neo-classical music. This has lots of layers to it, and sounds at times discordant, but I like it more with each listen. This band requires some patience, but I think you get rewarded for that patience. Found in Ed Buckley's collection. Roy Meerkamper
